Garble

Growing up, Garble was essentially an outcast. He did not possess the ferocious hunting skill and the undying hatred for all other creatures that fellow members of his species did. For this reason, he was never able to find a tribe that he could join. He would just spend his days wandering through the grasslands, alone.

But the Signum Guild did not know this. They had heard about the extreme fighting power of these creatures for a long while, and wanted it for themselves. So one day, while he was out on one of his long walks, Garble was quickly swooped up into a net and taken away.

He performed poorly in their training room, just as we would expect. He simply wasn't able to rip into a training dummy's exterior and tear it limb by limb like any other one of his kind could. Realising this, the Guild were just about to release him, when the son of one of their warriors asked a question. "How good is he with a sword?"

As ridiculous of a question as that may have seemed, they decided to give him a go with a simple iron dagger they had laying around. And, well... you can probably guess which one he was better at. They fitted him in armour, tattooed their crest on his stomach so that other guilds could not claim him as their own, gave him a custom-made sword that he could easily hold with his... weird hands, and named him Garble. He now officially serves as a warrior of the Signum Guild, and does a pretty damn good job at it.
